Questions & Answers

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check this list of questions and answers! We have listed these Q&A hoping that they could help you in your journey toward the event.

  • When is the RSVP deadline?

RSVP  = “répondez s’il vous plaît,” meaning “please respond.”  Please confirm your attendance by the date indicated in your invitation . If for any reason you are still doubtful by this date, please contact us directly so we can plan accordingly.

  • How can I confirm my attendance? – RSVP.

You can confirm your attendance by filling out the form added on the RSVP page.

  • Can I bring another person to accompany me or a date?

Please check the number of guests in your invitation.  Ohhh, and no pets allowed. Please leave your dog, cat, rooster, goats, etc., at your home safely.

  • Can I bring my kids?

We have prepared an area where the kids can all hang out, know each other a bit more and have fun. So that’s a Yes, you can bring your kids to the event if you wish to. Please indicate if you are planning to bring the kids in your RSVP. If you need extra space to accommodate a stroller for your child, please contact us directly so we can accommodate your needs appropriately. The mounting of playpens or any other child-related artifact will not be permitted during the event.

  • Whom should I call with questions?

Please call us directly. Wilson or Janice will be available to answer all your questions. You can contact us through the contact form in this page. We will respond your message directly.

  • Is there a dress code?

Comfortable formal wear can allow you to transition from the wedding ceremony in afternoon to the events during the reception in the evening. Ideally, you can find a wardrobe to shake it up during the event.

We are requesting that you, please wear any color that is not white or beige.

If you’re unsure about the appropriate dress length, the bride, wedding party, or friends should be able to answer your questions.

For men, there are hip formal styles to choose from. Please contact the groom or the groomsmen for further questions about ties, bow ties, tuxedos and every other detail that may be of concern.

  • What should I bring?

Only requirement: Be ready to party. We promise you will have tonnes of fun all night long!

  • Is there a vegetarian option for dinner at the reception?

If requested with enough time, yes. Please contact us directly if that is the case. You can call us directly or use this online contact form.

  • Is there handicap access?

Wedding: Space might be limited, but there are several parking lots available near the Cathedral.

Reception: Centro de Convenciones de Aguada will have plenty of space available for our guests.

  • What options do we have for hotels?

We have put together some information on our Travel page. If you can, please plan your stay with enough time.

  • What is the weather like in December?

December marks the end of the hurricane season, although December actually sees the wettest days of the entire year: around 21 days. Temperatures are approximately 20 to 29 degrees Celsius (68-84 °F). Even the water is a pleasant 27 degrees (80 °F).

  • Will there be transportation from the hotel to the venue provided?

The ceremony will start in the Our Lady of Candelaria Cathedral (Mayaguez) at 3:00pm. After the religious service, we will then meet again at the Centro de Convenciones de Aguada at 6:00pm.

Transportation may be provided by friends and family members if needed and arranged with time.

  • Are there any pre-wedding activities?

At this time, there are no formal activities scheduled. If anything else is planned, we will let you know. Keep in mind that you are more than welcome to visit us during your stay.

  • Where are some great places we can visit if we want to come in a couple days before the wedding day?

There are fantastic and exotic places to visit on the Island. We have listed touristic attractions and other special places around the Island. Just click on this page, to access the  Places to Visit section.

  • Are there any delicious restaurants of fine dining we could consider?

Of course! We have prepared a list of our favorite restaurants and places for fine dining. Please check the Restaurants section listed in this page.
